Children’s House Montessori, Inc. (CHM) is a privately owned organization established in 1963 for the purpose of providing quality care for young children. CHM offers an environment rich in materials for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years.

Our Philosophy
Our program is focused on the development of the whole child, and it reflects a fundamental belief in the infinite capacity of the young child for learning.

The purpose of our program is not only to expand the child’s understanding of himself and his world, but to take responsibility for his own learning. An autonomous approach to learning can only be developed through experience in taking initiative, making choices, working independently, setting goals and carrying projects through to their completion.

We also seek to provide peace of mind and support to parents and families by maintaining a safe environment, trained personnel and offering outside resources.

CHM accepts children regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, status with regard to public assistance, status with regard to disability, religious affiliation, or membership in any other protected category.
